In January 2009, I decided to purchase a new Nissan 370Z as a daily driver. It was one of the first 370Zs to hit the showroom floor in Las Vegas and it wasn't long before the decision was made to campaign the car in time attack competition. In March of 2009, a mere two months after the 370Z officially went up for sale in the USA, the car competed in its first time attack at Buttonwillow Raceway. The car was shockingly quick out of the box and that event sealed the deal that this would become my new time attack car, however it still has to remain my daily driver. The goal for this build is to build a very functional and quick Street Class car that is not only competitive on the track, but captures the true spirit of the "Street" class by remaining a suitable daily driver.
